Mara is a certified medical assistant on Dr. Cohn’s team and has been part of his practice since its beginning. With over 15 years of experience in orthopedic and outpatient care, she is often the first person patients meet and the one who keeps every visit running on schedule.
About Mara
Mara gathers intake histories, reviews medications and prior imaging, rooms patients, and assists with in-office procedures, casting, and brace fitting. She also answers patient questions, coordinates scheduling, and helps navigate the details that come up before and after surgery. Fluent in Spanish, Mara makes sure every patient can ask questions and understand their care plan in the language they are most comfortable speaking. Colleagues and patients alike know her as the person who can solve any problem that arises. Mara takes pride in making a busy shoulder and elbow practice feel personal, and in making sure every patient leaves knowing exactly what comes next.
